'I'm coming to get you': Tommy Robinson is found guilty of harassing two Daily Mail journalists and faces possible jail
Tommy Robinson leaves court after being convicted of harassing two Daily Mail journalists whose home addresses he exposed to millions of followers, facing up to ten years in prison.
Tommy Robinson, 43 — real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon — was convicted at Southwark Crown Court today of harassing two journalists who revealed he was sunbathing in Cyprus while riots tore through England in August 2024. A jury of ten to two found him guilty on both counts of harassment causing fear of violence after 11 hours and 25 minutes of deliberation. Reporters Andrew Young and Jacob Dirnhuber were forced to either leave their homes or hire security after Robinson sent private investigators to find their addresses and posted images of their houses to millions of followers. He is to be sentenced on December 16 and faces up to ten years in prison.
Robinson told Young by phone: 'I'm coming to get you,' and messaged Dirnhuber: 'Got ya,' after a photographer snapped him outside his home.
Dirnhuber had to move house entirely; a third Mail journalist, George Odling, also fled his family home over fears of a vigilante attack.
CPS chief Frank Ferguson said Robinson 'weaponised social media' and that 'nobody should be made to fear violence because of the work they do.'
