Top RFK Jr adviser Calley Means quits the Trump administration over a stalled MAHA agenda just before the US midterms
Grassroots Make America Healthy Again activists are increasingly frustrated with the Trump administration, and Calley Means's exit puts that rift on display. Means, senior adviser to Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr, walked out on Thursday, less than two weeks before polling day. Big MAHA goals like purging pesticides and chemicals from food have been stymied. The White House and HHS did not respond to requests for comment.
Means said he was leaving with 'tremendous respect for President Trump and Bobby Kennedy'.
He blamed 'entrenched, dark forces in DC that profit from Americans getting sick'.
He listed wins including a new food pyramid and removing soda from SNAP.
