Trading platform Plus500 upgrades its full-year outlook after new customer numbers surge 27% in the third quarter
The FTSE 250 firm signed up 28,747 fresh customers in the three months to September 30. Quarterly revenue climbed 11% to $203.2m (£152.2m), and underlying earnings rose 7% to $88.4m. Bosses now expect 2026 results to beat City forecasts of $837.6m in revenue. Chief executive David Zruia said a wider product range was pulling in 'higher-value customers'.
Plus500 entered prediction markets in February, adding sport in June for the World Cup.
The group has recently agreed to buy two broker-dealers, one in the US and one in Brazil.
Traders can now access commodities — among them gold, silver, oil and natural gas — around the clock.
