Trump calls Nobel committee 'enemies of civilisation' and threatens Norway after peace prize goes to Navi Pillay

President Trump erupted at a Syracuse, New York rally and in a late-night Truth Social rant after the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to South African jurist Navi Pillay, calling the decision "disgraceful and embarrassing" and an "indelible stain" on Norway. He claimed he deserved the prize — or eight of them — for settling eight wars, and warned: "We will not forget, Norway."
Trump dismissed Pillay, the 85-year-old former UN human rights chief, as a "mystery person" he had "never heard of."
Pillay, attending a conference at Nuremberg's Palace of Justice, drew laughter by joking: "If you clap a little bit more, I may share this prize with Trump."
Trump threatened Iran at the same rally, saying the conflict would be "very quick one way or the other — they give us everything or they don't exist any longer."
