Trump calls Obama a 'lousy president' and defends his White House renovations after Obama's Saddam Hussein 'Cheesecake Factory' jab

Barack Obama's Saddam Hussein quip — that Trump had the White House "looking like Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory, it's just gold everywhere" — was made during a campaign stop in Cleveland and referred to Trump's reportedly $900 million renovation programme. Trump fired back at reporters at Joint Base Andrews, insisting Obama "doesn't see dirt, he doesn't see filth, he doesn't see broken ornaments on a building." The row has since spiralled into a broader midterm spat, with Jordan Klepper arguing Obama deliberately baited Trump into a losing fight.
The White House's own X account posted a doctored Cheesecake Factory menu touting Trump policies, including 'The Border Security Special' and 'The American Energy Feast.'
Scott Jennings defended Trump by arguing Obama would be remembered for 'ruining health care', while Joanna Coles hit back that Trump would be remembered for raising prices.
'For you to say it was a Cheesecake Factory, that just shows why you were a lousy president,' Trump told reporters en route to Mississippi.
