President Trump launched a Truth Social attack on NBC's 'Meet the Press' host Kristen Welker, calling for FCC action against her after she characterised his primary endorsement record as 'mixed'. Trump asserted a 100% success rate in US Senate primaries and 98% in House primaries, calling Welker's characterisation a 'purposeful inaccuracy'. He also called on the FCC to rein in polling companies, writing 'THE FAKE POLLS USED BY OUR CROOKED MEDIA ARE OUT OF CONTROL'. Trump urged FCC chair Brendan Carr to take the 'Threat to our Country very seriously'.

Trump's conflict with Welker has been building — he walked out of a 'Meet the Press' interview with her in June over his 2020 election claims.

ABC and Disney are already suing the FCC over what they call an unconstitutional 'retaliatory campaign' after Trump's administration previously targeted the network.

Among Trump's notable endorsed losers this cycle: Rep. Cory Mills in Florida, Rep. Andy Ogles in Tennessee, and Mike Lindell, who ran a distant second in Minnesota.
