Trump is mocked after an Iowa Republican candidate hands him a 'Man of the Century' award over his Nobel snub

An Iowa Republican running for a House seat, Joe Mitchell, described it as a 'disgrace' that President Donald Trump has never received a Nobel Peace Prize — so he created his own award instead. At a Thursday rally at Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City, Mitchell told Trump he had done 'more for humanity and for America than any other president ever'. Trump mouthed 'wow' upon accepting the framed certificate.

In his remarks, Mitchell also hailed Trump as 'the greatest president we've ever had'.

Trump has claimed he deserves 'four or five' Nobel prizes by now.

FIFA chief Gianni Infantino previously presented him with a 'FIFA Peace Prize'.
