Flavio Bolsonaro, 45, fled Brazil on Tuesday after missing a court deadline to surrender his passports while under investigation for money laundering, arriving in Miami with his wife and two daughters and declaring himself Brazil's rightful leader despite losing Sunday's election to leftist incumbent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Trump granted the family entry visas but reportedly has no plans to endorse Flavio's claim to the presidency.

His flight mirrors that of his father, former president Jair Bolsonaro, who also refused to concede defeat to Lula and moved to the US in 2022.
