Trump mimics punching protesters at a North Carolina rally and compares the hecklers to rioters in France
A protester is escorted from the rally as Trump warned supporters that hecklers disrupting his events in North Carolina — and in Texas, Tennessee and Alaska — would be treated "very, very rough.
President Donald Trump told the Greenville crowd 'I hope you won't get angry if I treat them very, very rough' after protesters disrupted his speech. Video shows one heckler being escorted out who appeared to be struck by someone in the crowd. Two protesters were removed shortly after he began. He was there to boost Senate hopeful Michael Whatley, who trails Democrat Roy Cooper by nearly 10 points.
'These people are crazy,' Trump told supporters at Pitt-Greenville Airport.
Hecklers have interrupted his midterm blitz even in Texas, Tennessee and Alaska.
Trump also mused that Senator Jon Husted's backside was 'like a pile of muscle'.
