Trump says 'don't hurt them' THEN mimics punching hecklers he compared to French rioters at North Carolina rally
A protester is escorted from the rally as Trump warned supporters that hecklers disrupting his events in North Carolina — and in Texas, Tennessee and Alaska — would be treated "very, very rough.
One protester appeared to be struck by someone in the crowd while being escorted out of the Greenville rally on Tuesday night. 'We're not going to put up with it,' President Donald Trump warned, adding: 'I hope you won't get angry if I treat them very, very rough.' Two protesters heckled him in succession minutes into his speech. He was campaigning for Senate hopeful Michael Whatley, who trails Roy Cooper.
Trump claimed the hecklers 'get paid by the radical left lunatics' seen in France.
The gesture echoed his 2016 Iowa call to 'knock the crap out of' tomato-throwers.
