Trump's agriculture secretary Brooke Rollins hits back at the left after her 'SNAP fraudster' Halloween costume post is branded racist

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins posted a mock Spirit Halloween costume labelled 'SNAP Fraudster' on Halloween, depicting a Black Atlanta influencer named Mercedes Reshard New — known as Shawty Dred — who was indicted this month on federal charges of fraudulently obtaining over $4 million in SNAP benefits through 350 fake accounts built on stolen identities. Rollins wrote: 'Some costumes come with a price tag. This one comes with a prison sentence.' She then told critics on the left to read about Shawty Dred before calling her out.
Journalist Mehdi Hasan called it 'just insane white supremacy, out in the open brazen racism, from Trump cabinet members.'
Democratic Rep. Shontel Brown labelled the post 'despicable' and 'disgusting,' warning Rollins she would face questions about it at the Agriculture Committee in January.
Lawyer George Conway dubbed Rollins 'Secretary of Racism,' while Rep. Brendan Boyle called the post 'textbook racism.'
