Trump's approval rating falls to a record low of 31% as Democrats open a 12-point lead before US midterms
President Donald Trump is underwater in 41 states and every major battleground, two weeks before the 3 November midterms. Just 32 percent of registered voters approve of his performance while 61 percent disapprove. Only nine Republican strongholds still give him a positive rating. Among voters aged 18 to 34, a mere 20 percent approve and 72 percent disapprove.
Trump told a Georgia rally: 'You have to pretend I'm on the ballot.'
Even in Wyoming, his best state, net approval has crashed from +47 to +14.
