Trump's Michigan Senate pick Mike Rogers dodges THREE times when Kristen Welker asks if he is a MAGA Republican

Mike Rogers branded the question 'a little bit disgusting' and swerved to attack a former Democrat Party chairman instead. Welker cut him off: 'I'm asking you about you.' Rogers declined to endorse Donald Trump in 2016 or 2020 before backing him in 2024. Control of the Senate could now ride on Michigan, where the president's favourability rating is low.

Rogers blamed an earpiece malfunction during the grilling on 'Meet The Press'.

His campaign now challenges Trump's tariffs, a policy Rogers spent months defending.

As recently as September he said 'tariffs are necessary'.
