Trump's oil and gas stocks jumped by millions during the Iran war, Democrats claim, after his 'freaking fortune' rally boast
US gas prices averaged $4.29 a gallon as Donald Trump boasted at a Georgia rally that America is making a "freaking fortune" from oil revenues despite advisers begging him not to.
President Donald Trump's oil and gas holdings are now worth between $22.5 million and $81.6 million, up from $12.6 million to $46 million at the end of 2025. Democrats on the Congressional Joint Economic Committee say he bought up to $17.5 million in such stocks after the war began in March. At a rally in Perry, Georgia, on Saturday, he said 'I don't give a damn.' Gas now averages $4.29 a gallon.
His advisers had begged him: 'Please don't mention that, Sir.'
Some 73 per cent of voters disapprove of his handling of gas prices.
