Melania Trump's locally-brokered ceasefire in Oleshky, a devastated frontline city in Ukraine's southern Kherson region, has reached 30 hours without violation, with both Russia and Ukraine's human rights ombudsmen confirming full compliance. The six-day truce, signed on October 23 by Russian commissioner Yana Lantratova and Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Lubinets, runs until 22:59 on November 1 to allow roughly 2,000 remaining residents to evacuate and receive food, clean water and medicine.
Melania spent weeks as 'exclusive intermediary' between Moscow and Kyiv, with officials meeting in Belarus to sign the deal.
Ukraine's top negotiator Davyd Arakhamia confirmed Ukrainian forces are honouring all commitments; Russian forces have not advanced or seized territory.
The ceasefire's geographic area has since been EXPANDED beyond Oleshky across the Kherson region to protect humanitarian convoys.
