Trump tells crowd 'don't hurt them' THEN mimics punching a heckler at a North Carolina midterm rally
Donald Trump at his Greenville, North Carolina rally, where he mimicked punching hecklers and vowed to treat them "very, very rough".A protester is escorted from the rally as Trump warned supporters that hecklers disrupting his events in North Carolina — and in Texas, Tennessee and Alaska — would be treated "very, very rough.
During the Greenville rally, one protester was struck by a member of the crowd as they were being removed. President Donald Trump told the audience he hoped they wouldn't mind if he handled hecklers 'very, very rough'. He attributed the protesters' presence to 'paid by the radical left lunatics' responsible for the chaos in France. The mock punch echoed a 2016 comment he made in Iowa, where he urged supporters to 'knock the crap out of' anyone throwing tomatoes.
Trump said hecklers go home and get 'smacked in the face' by their parents.
He conceded that the Greenville disruption was 'a slightly lesser event' than the French riots.
Interruptions have also hit his speeches in Texas, Ohio and Alaska this month.
