Trump says he asked Google boss Sundar Pichai to rename the Atlantic 'Trump Ocean' but was told no

President Donald Trump told a rally in South Carolina on Wednesday that Pichai pushed back, saying: 'Oceans are different, sir. They cover a lot of countries.' He said he made the call after Google renamed the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America for US users. Trump laughed as he retold the story, then asked the crowd if he should 'pass'.

Trump said Pichai told him: 'No, no, no. This time I'm not doing it.'

Palm Beach International Airport was renamed after Trump earlier this year.

Trump then backed down on the idea: 'Let's keep it the Atlantic Ocean, right?'
