At a rally in Sioux City, Iowa, President Trump told House Speaker Mike Johnson that Democrats had 'conceded her seat' as the crowd chanted 'lock her up'. Border czar Tom Homan says Omar could face denaturalisation and deportation should immigration fraud be established. Her office insists: 'Ilhan Omar is her real name.' She has not been charged and denies wrongdoing.
Agents seized 17 items, including her daughter's phone and a children's Somali phrase book.
Asked if ex-husband Ahmed Nur Said Elmi is her brother, Omar replied 'not to my knowledge'.
On a $174,000 salary, Omar claims she still lives 'paycheck to paycheck'.
