Trump says the NFL 'could have probably postponed' Sunday's Paris game as Americans are warned to avoid French riots
'That's what happens when you allow unlimited numbers of people into your country from very unfriendly countries,' President Donald Trump told reporters on Friday. The State Department has urged Americans in Paris for the game to exercise caution, with protests planned for Saturday. Paris police have pushed PSG's Sunday clash with Lyon to Monday. The NFL insists the Steelers-Saints game at the Stade de France will go ahead.
Pete Hegseth's office tried to pull all troops from the game, then backed down.
The Steelers cancelled a fan event in Paris over security fears.
Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said: 'If it was unsafe, then I'm sure we wouldn't be here.'
