US warns Americans at the Paris NFL game to avoid riots as Trump says the league 'could have probably postponed' it

Paris police have forced Paris Saint-Germain to move Sunday's match against Lyon to Monday because protests and the NFL fixture have stretched security thin. The State Department told Steelers and Saints fans to stay alert, warning that marches can break away from their planned routes. President Donald Trump said 'France is really in trouble.' The league insists the Stade de France game is safe.

Pete Hegseth's team tried to pull troops from the game until the State Department objected.

Trump on the unrest: 'That's what happens when you go left.'

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said street protests 'are not unusual in France.'
