Trump sends judge 'Trash Island' pictures to study while she weighs halting work on his Washington golf course
Judge Ana C. Reyes accused officials of hiding the plan, saying 'there is no universe' in which the felling of more than 400 trees at East Potomac Golf Links happened by coincidence. The trees came down over a holiday weekend with only hours of notice. Trump unveiled his redevelopment designs on Sunday. Monday's daylong hearing ended without a ruling on stopping the work.
The Justice Department accused Reyes of bias and asked her to step aside, but she refused.
Trump branded the Biden-appointed judge a 'crazed lunatic' who 'may be insane'.
Reyes says her family is 'freaking out' over death threats 'over a golf course'.
