Trump tells Florida rally that American warships returning from the Iran war will stop to 'take care of Cuba'

Donald Trump said a warship would sit 'about 50 yards off the coast' until Havana's rulers 'raise up their hands'. Secretary of State Marco Rubio would then be sent in 'to finish up the deal'. Trump also warned the US 'may do another little Epic Fury' against Iran. He spoke during a 90-minute speech in Fort Myers, ahead of the 3 November midterms.
Rubio urged Cubans to seek change 'through a discrete partnership with the CIA'.
Cuban diplomats shouted at US envoy Mike Waltz at the UN this week.
Trump won 68% of Florida's Cuban American vote in 2024.
