Trump threatens to report NBC's Kristen Welker to the FCC over his 'mixed results' endorsement record claim

President Trump has demanded FCC action against 'Meet the Press' host Kristen Welker after she said he had 'mixed results' endorsing candidates in GOP primary races. Trump posted on Truth Social calling the claim a "purposeful inaccuracy" and urging FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr to treat the matter as a "Threat to our Country." He cited a claimed 100% Senate primary success rate and 98% House primary success rate to counter Welker's characterisation.

Trump called Welker the "Unpopular 'Hostess' of the once great Meet the Press, now considered Meet the Fake Press" in his Truth Social post.

The FCC, led by Brendan Carr, has previously threatened broadcast networks it considers biased — Disney and ABC filed a lawsuit in August calling the campaign unconstitutional.

Trump walked off the same 'Meet the Press' set in June after Welker challenged him on California election security claims.
