Trump vows to hold a federal judge responsible for anyone 'hurt or killed' at 'disgusting' Washington DC golf course

Trump threatened US District Judge Ana Reyes by name on Truth Social, warning his administration would hold her "fully responsible for anybody who is hurt, or killed" on the East Potomac Golf Course. He posted images of torn netting, yellow grass and faeces, calling conditions a "National Disgrace" and demanding a "world class" replacement. The outburst came after Reyes extended a preliminary injunction blocking further tree removal, telling the administration it had lost "all of its credibility" in the case.
Judge Reyes had rebuked Trump's lawyers for felling over 400 trees without adequate notice, saying: 'I trusted you all not to do precisely what you have done.'
Trump claimed a White House staffer was 'hit violently in the chest' by a stray ball — but named no one, gave no date and the White House has offered no confirmation.
The course, a public facility used by tens of thousands of players a week, is now reportedly set to close, according to a new court filing.
