Twelve people including six children as young as 11 are injured in a shooting near a Florida university homecoming

Police say a dispute at a homecoming party on Perry Street in Tallahassee escalated into gunfire at around 9:45pm on Saturday. Eleven victims suffered gunshot wounds near Florida A&M University's Bragg Memorial Stadium, and a twelfth person was also hurt. Six adults were hit alongside the six juveniles. The shooting occurred as crowds were leaving the historically black college's football stadium.

Student Jayden Dubois was trampled, then 'saw a person laid out on the ground'.

Florida A&M University insisted 'the campus remains safe' after the shooting.

Tallahassee police urged residents to stay away while officers investigate.
