CCTV shows two men shooting each other over 'disrespect' outside a Birmingham nightclub, and a bullet hits a food seller
A bullet passed through Kimani Durrell-Smith's shoulder and struck jerk chicken seller Garth Pantry, who needed surgery for a partly collapsed lung. Aaron Nubie had gone back to FJ Lounge in Aston to 'put right the disrespect' he felt after a row inside. The pair fired almost at the same instant at around 6am on March 23 last year. Each was jailed for 18 years at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday.
Nubie, representing himself, told the court: 'It was a form of self-defence.'
Nubie turned up at hospital with neck and hand wounds, claiming he couldn't remember how.
Garth Pantry suffers sleepless nights and has not worked since the shooting.
