More than 2,600 Palestinians have been displaced in Hebron, according to the city's municipality, after troops struck over 400 locations across the weekend. The operation follows Friday's checkpoint attack, in which two gunmen killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded three. Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Israel would 'act to destroy this place'. Most permit-holding Palestinian workers are also barred from settlements on Sunday and Monday.
