Ukraine defies Trump and strikes Russian oil sites again as more than 100 drones hit the Kstovo industrial region

Ukraine struck Russian oil infrastructure for the second consecutive day, targeting the Samara Linear Production and Dispatch Station in Prosvet and hitting the Kstovo industrial region with over 100 drones — directly defying Trump's pressure to halt such attacks. The assault on Samara, which blends western Siberian oil for Russia's armed forces, triggered large fires visible in NASA satellite imagery, while a fake nuclear warhead alert sent to Russia's emergency app caused widespread panic among civilians.

October was Russia's deadliest month since the war began, with 54,400 casualties — surpassing the previous monthly record of 48,670 set in December 2024.
