Ukraine is to be able to buy military supplies through a Nato agency, giving Kyiv a new route to arms

Kyiv will be able to place orders for military kit through the alliance's own purchasing machinery rather than relying only on direct handouts from individual governments. The plan has not yet been put into effect, and the reports give no details on timing, cost or which supplies are covered.

The move lets Ukraine use Nato's buying arm directly for its military supplies.

No price tag, start date or list of equipment has yet been given.
