Ukraine strikes Russian rocket fuel plant in Rostov with drones and Neptune missiles despite Washington's warnings to stop

Ukraine's Armed Forces struck the Kamensky chemical plant in Russia's Rostov region overnight on Saturday, targeting a facility that produces solid rocket propellant used in multiple-launch rocket systems including the Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S. Neptune coastal missile systems were deployed alongside attack drones, confirming a warehouse of finished goods and damaging four production workshops.

The strike aims to cut Russian forces' supply of rockets used to bombard Ukrainian towns and cities.

Ukraine also hit the Bashneft refineries in Ufa and four Russian military logistics depots in the same overnight operation.

Trilateral US-Russia-Ukraine peace talks are set to resume in Abu Dhabi next month, even as Kyiv continues defying Washington's demands to halt deep strikes.
