'Ultra-left militant' ALREADY on a French security watchlist is arrested over fire that destroyed historic Limoges town hall
Elite RAID counter-terror officers seized Hodei Ciarra Docampo, 34, in a dawn raid on his home in Val d'Issoire, 30 miles from Limoges. He has a record for attacking police and links to the radical group Les Soulèvements de la Terre. He faces up to 20 years in jail. French officials say far-left groups are stoking the riots sweeping the country.
Mayor Guillaume Guérin said police had 'run out of ammunition' by 3.30pm.
Guérin threatens to quit unless Paris funds a Notre-Dame-style rebuild.
Almost 150 rioters are already convicted as curfews hit Paris, Lyon and Marseille.
