University of Arizona fraternity is suspended after a sorority student alleges two men sexually assaulted her at its house

The student told police she had been drinking tequila and consensually kissed one man at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house off the Tucson campus on August 26. She says she woke in another room without her clothes and recalled two men assaulting her while she told them to 'please stop'. The following morning she had trouble swallowing — which a search warrant cited as a potential indicator of strangulation.

Two days later, she secretly recorded a phone call with one of the men.

He allegedly acknowledged that the two had had sex, while telling her he had been drunk and left things 'fuzzy'.

Dean Chrissy Lieberman had suspended all fraternity activities only weeks earlier over hazing allegations.
