Up-skirting supply teacher is jailed six years for using AI to create deepfake sex images of his own pupils
Abusali Rahman, who pleaded guilty to 21 child sex offences including using AI to create deepfake images of schoolgirls aged 13 to 16, has been jailed for six years.Rahman also drafted a document in May 2025 intending to sell explicit AI-generated images of women to other offenders for £20 each.
Abusali Rahman, 37, from Salford, was jailed at Bolton Crown Court on Thursday after admitting 21 child sex offences involving girls aged 13 to 16 at seven Greater Manchester secondary schools. He hid an iPhone in his top pocket to photograph girls covertly up their skirts, followed them upstairs to film them, and used their social media pictures to generate sexualised deepfake images with AI. He was caught after a mother browsing X spotted her daughter's school-uniform photograph appearing next to graphic sexual content on an account called 'UK Girl5'.
Rahman kept digital files listing pupils' names and home addresses in order to track them down online, and had been planning to sell the images to other paedophiles for £20.
Judge Kenderik Horne told him: 'You were a trusted supply teacher — you abused that trust,' before placing him on the sex offenders register for life.
Police recovered more than 300 deepfake images from his devices, spanning Category A to Category C, with the faces of girls superimposed onto adults engaged in sexual activity.
