A Gulfstream G100 air ambulance vanished off the Massachusetts coast en route from Bermuda to Boston on Saturday, with all six people on board now presumed dead. The Coast Guard launched a search before suspending it on Sunday. Among those lost were a mother and son from Bermuda travelling as patients on the medical flight, alongside four crew members.

The aircraft disappeared near Nantucket, with no survivors or wreckage recovered before the search was called off.

The two Bermudian nationals were named as passengers on the medical evacuation flight bound for Boston.
