US elite University of Chicago faces a second fraternity rape lawsuit in a week as teen alleges attack at party

A woman, named in court papers only as Jane Doe and aged 19, alleges that an Alpha Delta Phi fraternity member poured her a shot of alcohol on February 7 before leading her to a private bedroom in the house. She says she warned him she felt lightheaded and unsteady, but he did not stop. Her lawsuit, filed in Cook County Circuit Court, states she remained unconscious until a friend found her.

Doe says she begged him to use a condom, a request he refused.

After finding blood on her underwear, she reported the alleged attack to Chicago police.

The fraternity's national chapter says it has 'suspended the member involved'.
