US mother mourns daughter, 15, while her sister fights for life after a Michigan crash killed two teenagers

Jordyn Bigham, 15, and a 16-year-old classmate died when their car left West R Avenue in Kalamazoo County and struck a tree at 3:23am on Sunday. Her sister Jadisson 'Jada' Bigham, 16, is in critical condition. Relatives said the girls were 'inseparable'. All five teenagers in the car were Mattawan High School students, and it is still unclear who was driving.

Their mother is 'mourning the loss of one daughter while standing by the hospital bed of another'.

Liyra Fuller and another friend, aged 15 and 17, are critical but stable.

Classmates held a vigil in the Mattawan High School car park on Monday night.
