US prosecutors will retry Lindsay Clancy over the killing of her three children after ONE holdout juror forced a mistrial

Lindsay Clancy, the 36-year-old Massachusetts nurse who strangled her children Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and eight-month-old Callan with exercise cords in January 2023, returned to court Monday as prosecutors confirmed a retrial but refused to say whether she will again face first-degree murder charges. Her defence attorney Kevin Reddington blasted the prosecution for "spinning everyone in the breeze" and demanded a spring trial date, warning he would not let Clancy "sit in jail for another year or two or three."
Clancy's lawyers sought full dismissal on double jeopardy grounds, pointing to alleged misconduct by holdout juror Michael Desronvil.
The hearing grew heated after Reddington named the juror aloud and Judge Sullivan ordered him to stop, prompting Reddington to fire back: 'No, you're not.'
Clancy is currently on suicide watch and suffering 'horrible dreams', her lawyer told the court; Judge Sullivan could rule on the dismissal motion at a 16 November hearing.
