US Senate hopeful Mike Rogers accuses Democrat Abdul El-Sayed of being 'bought' by the Muslim Brotherhood in final Michigan debate

Former FBI agent Mike Rogers demanded to know whether his rival was "for America" or "for these terrorist groups overseas". He also claimed El-Sayed's campaign had donors from Hamas who support Hezbollah. Abdul El-Sayed, who denies any ties to the group, hit back that the attack was "really quite beneath you, Mike". When Rogers tried to interject, El-Sayed shouted "I'm talking!" and branded the questioning of his loyalty "shameful".

Rogers says El-Sayed signed a 2012 letter urging Egypt's Morsi to purge his police.

Ted Cruz told Fox News: 'I believe this man is Muslim Brotherhood.'

Trump is due in Michigan on Sunday at Rogers' invitation.
