Timothy Reaggle was caught on video snapping out of his handcuffs inside an Ohio courthouse and attacking a deputy in the throat seconds after a judge sentenced him for assault. The dramatic escape attempt at Columbiana County courthouse was captured on footage that has since spread widely. Reaggle was quickly subdued by bailiffs but not before injuring at least one officer.

Reaggle had just been sentenced for assault when he launched the attack on court deputies.

Video shows him slipping free of his restraints before lunging at officers in the courtroom.

He faces additional charges over the courthouse attack on top of his original assault conviction.
