Viewers vow to stop watching The Voice after axed coach Sir Tom Jones WON the final on his last appearance

Sir Tom Jones, 86, coached his act Cate McHugh to victory in Saturday's 'The Voice UK' final — only to be axed by ITV afterwards, having spent 13 years on the show. Jones had publicly insisted ITV 'fired' him due to an insurance cost dispute, saying he 'did not want to leave'. Viewers watching his farewell flooded X with emotional tributes and boycott vows.
McHugh's win was announced by presenter Emma Willis, making Jones the triumphant outgoing coach.
ITV is replacing Jones with Cheryl and Aitch, alongside returning coach will.i.am and new judge Kelly Rowland.
Jones had already rejected ITV's offer of a 'super guest judge' role for the new series, with talks described as 'pretty messy'.
