Virginia State University sued for forcing Christian student groups under state-appointed minister while Muslim groups face no such rule

Alliance Defending Freedom has filed a federal lawsuit against Virginia State University on behalf of two Christian student organisations stripped of their official campus status. The lawsuit challenges a Campus Ministries Policy that places all Christian-led groups under the authority of a university-appointed minister, Thomas Wynn. Non-Christian religious groups, including Muslim organisations, are exempt from the same requirement. ADF argues the policy violates the First Amendment.
