Vogue Williams mocks troll who claimed she was 'breaking maternity law' by leaving home with newborn son Remy

Vogue Williams told podcast listeners how she silenced a mum-shaming troll who ranted that she was 'breaking maternity law' by taking her newborn son Remy out of the house just weeks after giving birth. The 40-year-old told co-host Joanne McNally she sarcastically replied that 'women should stay at home for at least one to two years' — and the troll promptly deleted their comment. Vogue and husband Spencer Matthews, 38, welcomed Remy Valentine on 1 September, their fourth child together.

There is no legal restriction on when newborn babies can leave the home; medical advice simply says go when you feel ready.

McNally backed her co-host, quipping: 'Nobody polices new mothers better than women.'

Vogue also revealed the baby was briefly named Rocky for a day before she and Spencer settled on Remy, having already ruled out Elvis.
