'We should not have done it': Peter Thiel breaks with Trump over Iran war in leaked audio before the mid-terms
Peter Thiel made the remarks at a lecture he hosted in Nashville on October 12, admitting 'there were a lot of mistakes that were made'. The PayPal and Palantir co-founder warned America may lack the hard power and could 'lose the soft power war'. The recording surfaced less than two weeks before the November 3 mid-terms. Thiel still reaffirmed his support for President Trump.
Palantir's Maven Smart System was used by the US military to speed up strikes on Iran.
Thiel has returned to politics this year, giving to Speaker Mike Johnson's fundraising committee.
