'What a waste of goodwill and talent': Dame Judi Dench says she has NEVER seen her own Cats film

Dame Judi Dench, 91, writes in her memoir 'Is It Too Late to Make a Run For It?' that she felt 'ill at ease from the beginning' as Old Deuteronomy. She says young dancers were left exhausted and 'completely ignored' after each take. Yet she insists 'there were no villains in the making of Cats'. The book is out on 3 November.

Cats was nominated for nine Razzies and won six, including Worst Picture.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has branded the film 'off-the-scale all wrong'.
