White House calls Kimmel a 'no-talent loser' after he ridicules new press secretary Katie Zacharia's 'disaster' first briefing

Katie Zacharia's debut as White House press secretary lasted just 14 minutes and drew immediate mockery from late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, who called her the latest 'fawning, blonde dolt' brought in to 'slobber lip gloss all over the president's behind.' Zacharia stumbled during the briefing, at one point calling Trump 'my president — sorry, my husband.' White House spokesperson Davis Ingle fired back, branding Kimmel 'a no-talent loser' with 'tanking ratings' and a 'dwindling audience.'

Zacharia, who worked at Trump's social media company before being hand-picked on October 9, replaced Karoline Leavitt.

Kimmel quipped she was dressed 'like she's about to announce preboarding on a Delta Air Lines flight.'

The White House described Zacharia as 'uniquely qualified', dismissing Kimmel's attack.
