Mohammed Asif Khan, whose wife Louise has been left relying on food banks, agreed a £500,000 civil settlement in 2024 but has repaid only around £550 of the £1.1 million he allegedly stole.

Mohammed Asif Khan, 48, a married father-of-two from Newcastle, is accused of 'stealing' around £1.1 million while working as a finance boss at North of England Coachworks, the North East's biggest vehicle bodyshop. Khan agreed in 2024 to pay back £500,000 to settle the civil claim but has since repaid only around £550, pawning a £20,000 Rolex to stop his former bosses seizing it.

Khan was jailed for six months for contempt of court after failing to pay the agreed settlement.

Around £160,000 of the missing cash went on escorts, including £56,000 to 'Britain's best-paid porn star' Gemma Massey at £1,000 an hour.

The company is now pursuing Khan's wife Louise, 47, over £23,000 already subject to a freezing order, amid allegations cash was funnelled into her accounts.
