William is 'determined to win' battle to strip Harry and Meghan of their royal titles, sources claim

Prince William is pushing King Charles daily to strip Harry and Meghan of their royal titles and honours, reportedly finding it "egregious" that the couple profit from their royal connection while operating outside the institution. The worsening rift is reportedly forcing the wider Royal Family to walk a "very fine line" amid the Sussexes' return to the UK.

William reportedly drew on his Andrew precedent, having spent years pressing Charles to remove the disgraced duke's titles before eventually prevailing.

William is reportedly furious that Harry and Meghan are "doing everything on their own terms" without running decisions past the Palace.

Questions have been raised about why taxpayers are funding a £140m monarchy when royals behave, in one commentator's words, with as much drama as a soap opera.
