Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader — injured and unseen in public since the February 28 joint US-Israeli strikes that killed his father — directed military commanders to revise target lists encompassing all US and Israeli "physical and non-physical assets" within Iranian striking range. The order came hours after Tehran accused US forces of attacking two fishing vessels off Qeshm Island, wounding one fisherman and leaving two others unaccounted for. Trump told a rally last week he may launch another "Epic Fury" if Iran refuses to negotiate, and multiple Gulf Arab officials told outlets that fresh strikes are expected as soon as November 4, the day after Tuesday's midterms.

The conflict, now eight months old, has cost Washington around $47 billion, with Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz and the US imposing a naval blockade on Iranian ports.

Qatari mediators returned to Tehran on Friday seeking a deal, but the two sides remain split over whether nuclear talks or sanctions relief must come first.

Khamenei warned that if enemies strike again, it will be Iran — not Washington — that decides 'when and under what conditions those attacks will end.'
