Woman, 26, is held under the Mental Health Act after a 'much-loved' mum was found dead in a Moss Side home

Officers attended a disturbance call at around 1.30pm on Monday and found the body of Yvonne Kemp, 57, at a house on Crondall Street in Manchester. Greater Manchester Police opened a murder investigation and arrested a 26-year-old woman on suspicion of murder; she has since been sectioned under the Mental Health Act. Her family described her as a 'much-loved mum, nana, sister and auntie'.

Relatives released a photograph of Yvonne with her partner, Tom Grant.

Detective Chief Inspector Louise Edwards said police believe it was an 'isolated incident'.

Her family said she 'would do anything for anyone, always putting others before herself'.
