Woman, 44, is charged with homicide after allegedly watching porn while driving before a crash that killed a Utah grandfather

A search warrant executed on Christine Chao's phone showed she had visited a pornography site fewer than two minutes before the June 12 crash on Interstate 15 in Juab County, according to the charges. Investigators found no skid marks at the point where her SUV struck traffic that had slowed for roadworks. Scott Lichfield, 66, of Fillmore, who was riding in the back seat, was airlifted to hospital but did not survive. Chao, of Rosemead in Los Angeles County, has been charged with felony automobile homicide.
Chao allegedly 'told officers she was at fault' moments after the three-car pile-up.
Her SUV shunted a sedan into another car, forcing all three vehicles off the road.
Lichfield's obituary called him a 'very loved gentle soul' who played Santa at Christmas.
Chao is due to make her first court appearance on November 17.
